this is a frequent occasion at the griege household recently. mimi has tears running down her face, charlie looks guilty. actually, they BOTH are guilty of provoking and generally annoying each other. it makes me feel like a referree a lot of the time! and it really makes me appreciate Psalm 133:1: "How wonderful and pleasant it is when brothers live together in harmony!"
to combat this and other ills, we are starting the "No WAFTing" plan. WAFT stands for Whining, Arguing, Fighting, and Tattling. they are on a 'marble reward' system, and when we fill up our jar, we are getting a family-approved reward. their choice: the high school musical soundtrack. we will see if the kids can make it to their goal ... the first day was not very promising!
