Yesterday I took Cooper and Mimi to the Pediatrician to check on a couple of things ... turns out the rash Cooper has on his neck, shoulders and cheeks is caused by his sweating and the 100+ degree heat here in Dallas. As Dr. Yaeger said, "He really has a pretty fat neck." Moisture is being trapped beneath his many folds of skin and causing the rash! I was not surprised to see that when they weighed Cooper, he is 17 pounds already -- at less than 5 months old! To put this into perspective, 17 pounds is what Charlie weighed at a YEAR! Now, Charlie was (and is to this day) a very skinny boy, but Cooper is one big chunk of love. It is nice to know that he is healthy, though, and it is nice to have such a fat and happy little guy around the house. It certainly helps to balance out the attitude we've been getting lately from big brother and big sister!
